1. You select the item(s) you want to purchase, these are placed in the shopping cart.

2. You view the contents of the shopping cart, and make any changes to your order if necessary.

3. You proceed to the "Place Order" page where you press the "To Secure Order Form" button.

4. You are now taken to our SECURE SERVER, and all information from this point on is encrypted, so no one can have access to this information.  You fill in the information, including credit card number and submit the order.

5. The order is securely transferred to the SECURE SERVER, and an email receipt is sent to you, and an order notification is sent to the Canadian Hot Springs Mineral Company which DOESN'T have any of the credit card information on it. It is only a notification with a 16 digit randomly generated order number.

6. The Canadian Hot Springs Mineral Company then logs on to the SECURE SERVER through an encrypted connection.   They enter your order number and their 20 character alpha-numeric password to retrieve the order.  This ensures that no one can access your credit card numbers except the Canadian Hot Springs Mineral Company.

7. Once the order is retrieved, the information is deleted from the SECURE SERVER, further protecting you from unauthorized access.

Some other "Secure" on-line stores don't go to these lengths for security, sometimes the order is emailed insecurely to the store from the SECURE SERVER.  This is not safe.   We assure you that we never will use this practice, as your safety is of paramount importance to us.
